Who can resist Joe Cocker? Not me. One of the artists I regret that I never saw live in concert. He’s nearly 70 now, I don’t know whether he is still touring.
If you are interested in a nice Odetta solo concert from 1990 you can listen to the radio livestream today 4:05-5:00 pm (your time).

I have a CD of this concert so the setlist will probably be
Rambler Gambler, Before I Can Change My Clothes + Alabama Bound + Bo Weavil, Ninehundred Miles + Going With The Chilly Winds + Dont Blow + Another Man Had, Until Its Time For You To Go, Carry It Home To Rosie, Many Of Miles, Why Dont We Go, Black Woman, Gods Gonna Cut You Down.

Birgit,
I realized I hadn’t played Joe Cocker in a long time or not ever. I really like him and did from the beginning.
Thanks for the link. These seem to be early Odetta. I was lucky to see her once.

Saw Joe at the Greek theatre in Los Angeles in 2012. He’s old but sounds better than he did in the 70’s.

Good to know, Gary, thanks. I’ll keep my eyes open for Cocker concerts.

gary,
I was a wishy-washy Cocker fan when he was younger. I loved some of his music but couldn’t understand why he chose other songs. I’m glad to hear he has a better sound now.
