I was hoping that version of Penny Lane had the trumpet at the very end.

Michael,
I had this in my files but I don’t know from where. I’ll try to hunt down the version you mention and replace.

Michael,
I found this on Songfacts,”Dave Mason played some trumpet for the end of the song, but it was cut out from the final release. It did make it onto the promotional single sent to radio stations.”
I have replaced the older version with the one with the trumpet. It took a bit to find.

Thanks Katry. I am glad your blog is still around. Most of the ones I started with in 2004 are gone. RE: Beatles-Penny Lane…I had that trumpet one. I mentioned it because I didn’t know if you were aware it existed.
Hope you enjoyed the hunt.

Michael,
That is when I started Coffee so it has been 10 years. I never imagined it would be around this long or that I wouldn’t tire of writing it.
I love a good hunt!
