I had found the posted one as a random picture, and then you sent me the whole page which I found amazing. I have been to Cape Coast: first was in 1970 then in 2012. The difference between those years was unbelievable and to see it in these pictures is even more remarkable. I loved my Ghana as it was still small where I lived and filled with compounds, chickens running around and few whites. I think I would have really loved to see it at the time these pictures were taken.
I never did see a hair-do like any of these. Hausa town would have had tribes from where I lived.
