    The Phil Spector Christmas album was released on November 22 1963 and it was not to be. In later years the wonderful wall of sound that brought Darlene Love, The Ronettes and The Crystals were to be appreciated and enjoyed during the season

      My Dear Hedley,
      I love that album and play it every Christmas.

      Originally this was not to be Darlene but Ronnie Spector. I can’t imagine it being anyone else’s song!
