    Oh good grief, is there any limit to Kat’s unpredictability? Not only an Arcade Fire song but one that wasn’t even on an album

    Montreal’s favorites have announced their tour for next year and I bought tickets last week for their stop on March 10 at the Palace. So big now they have no problem in selling out 20,000 seater arenas.

    The new double disc Reflektor has been getting heavy duty play in the car and “we exist” is played at ear piercing level.

        Kat, also check out The Suburbs. The new album is produced by James Murphy so it has a dance/LCD Soundsystem element to it.

        I just ordered the album The Suburbs figuring I’ll start with one and am listening now as the CD came with a rip as well.

        Doing this blog has developed my taste in music, and I thank you.

        I’m flirting right now with The Waterboys “fisherman’s box” , there is a lot of positive discussion but I am not very familiar with them. Music should always be an adventure and not just a return to the familiar and comfortable.

        I don’t hear about new groups as I seldom listen to the music radio stations in the car. Maybe I need to hunt more on line and listen.

        I like new music.

    Kat, amazon.com has Reflektor for $6.99, which I assume is part of their Black Friday promote but an awfully good price for those that would like to try it.
