Henry Beston quote

Safety First – was the movie and it meant nothing to Harold Lloyd who did all these stunts.

My Dear Hedley,
I knew it was Harold Lloyd, but I didn’t know the movie. As always, thank you!

A long history of watching silent movies with my Poppa will do that. BBC TV on a Sunday afternoon, all them there years ago was very generous with Arbuckle, Lloyd, L&H….they were all familiar to us

MDH,
When I was in college, I used to go to Hammond castle in Gloucester to see silent movies. The castle had a huge pipe organ which they used to play during the movies. It was such fun!

Comedy takes many forms…Big Rick was crossing the border and called me last night to advise me that he has secured a position in a Goldmine in some country I can neither spell nor remember.
I responded this morning by firing up my snowblower
Guess not all humour is physical

MDH,
I was wondering where Big Rick has been as you haven’t mentioned him. Now I find he will be working at a goldmine-interesting!
Physical humor seems rarer today.

Big Rick has overcome his ban form the land down south and is happily drifting in and out of Canada. Biking has become a non event as the weather changes so quickly.
He is the most optimistic person I know, it’s almost worth biking with him in 32F tomorrow just to get more information on his Goldmine adventure.

MDH,
I love being around optimistic people. They make my life brighter. I have some friends like that, and I consider myself very lucky.

Dang, They said the clocks turn back an hour in the fall, but they didn’t say that included me

Morpfy,
Wouldn’t that be great? We could all live just a bit longer.

“Where was he clocked?”
“On the head.”
Cheers

You always do find the pun of it!
