Fits perfect. I’ve picked apples today, baked a cake and ate it with vanilla ice cream and tea 🙂

Birgit,
That sounds so delightful-a cake made with apples you picked yourself.
I love listening to Frost read his own poetry.

minicapt,
I am a Stan Rogers fan but this is the first time I’ve heard one sung by a choir, and I thought it lovely.

Love his old voice and miss the curmudgeon still.
I’m just back from a few days in Sabael, NY where wild apple trees line the state road on both sides. We picked and picked – each tree bearing a different variety and our cloth shopping bags were overflowing. Eating while picking – the apple crisp, apple strudel, apple pie, apple sauce.

Mark,
He was one of the first poets whose poems meant something to me. Frost was New England as was I so we shared the sentiments in his poems. I bought the record of Frost reading his poetry when I was in high school and, like you, loved the sound of his voice.
I can smell the apple pies cooking now!
