And so Katmah ventures once again in to the genius of Damon Albarn, how close are we to KTCC meets The Gorillaz?
Meanwhile Phil Daniels got off his GS scooter, with his hair cut neat, jumped in his Ford Cortina and joined Damon and Blur in extolling the virtues of………PARKLIFE !

My Dear Hedley,
We are closer than you would expect. I seem to be venturing much further afield the older I get.
Love the haircut and the Ford!

Most people I know get closed minded about music as they get older. Their repertoire pretty much stops growing at 40 or so. Because of that I’ve made an effort to keep enjoying new music. It doesn’t mean I’m necessarily listening to rap, opera or pop country – but listening to new artists (or older ones I had missed). For the record – I highly recommend Portland Cello Project. We’ve agreed elsewhere on music – so you might want to check into them. π

Scott,
My tastes have widened as I’ve gotten older, an unexpected development for me. I have posted country which I never thought would happen. I hate country!! I’m finding new artists I like all the time. It’s been fun.
Thanks for the recommendation!

Scott, you are right although it is somewhat difficult to traverse all the gaps – my son wants me to listen to Kanye West but I cant get there.
We did move with Albarn to the Gorillaz, love the music and as a result we saw a great show at The Fox in Detroit which featured Paul Simonon and Mick Jones of the Clash.
So as Kat drifts away from the comfort of the familiar, here is Mr Albarn and the Gorillaz and a little number than has been viewed, oh 17 million times
