What a truly wonderful image! It captures that last day of school perfectly.

Happy Happy , Joy Joy. but what’s the occasion you ask?
They all made it thru another year of school, and schools out for the summer. Little do they know, Mom & Dad have many chores for them this summer. But Hey ! maybe a raise in their allowance of .50 cents is in the future?

Morpfy,
I never got more than 50 cents, but I also didn’t do much to earn the 50 cents. My mother was content to have us out of her way and out of her hair all summer.

these kids look joyous. Mom didn’t make ’em clean up the table and do the dishes after dinner

Bubba,
I remember that joy, and I always ran home on that last day of school. My mother wanted us out of the house so no chores!
