I don’t remember this song when it hit the airwaves but I do recall hearing a song almost of the same subject. It was ” Tell Laura I love her”.
I cant remember the singer of that song but the two voices of them sound the same. This Laura must of been one heck of a girlfriend to the writer of both songs.

I remember that one too. The guy dies in a fiery car crash, and those were his last words. Around that time there were so many songs about teenage angst. I didn’t remember who sang it either but I looked it up. Ray Peterson was the singer.
