Leaving on a Jet Plane: My Morning Jacket

When I went back to Ghana the first time, on my last night, my former students said they needed to sing Miss Ryan’s song, something they had been doing for forty years whenever they got together. It was this song sung perfectly and all the way through.

    This is a lovely cover. My Morning Jacket is another group I heard about years ago and had forgotten. Thanks for reminding me.

      Hi Caryn,
      I thought so too. It is on the tribute to John Denver album. This was the first time I’d heard them and I liked their sound.
