The Brits had so many terrific bands. Beatles/Stones league of their own and maybe the Who and Pink Floyd as well, but then DC5, Kinks, Hollies, Yardbirds, Zombies, and on and on. They were all great

They were all great and are woven into all of the music I loved in high school and college.

I still listen to Rock and there is plenty of good music, but there aren’t hardly any well-known bands of the similar notoriety (like the Brit bands) around. Big names these days tend to be solo’s.
