The first I ever heard of Anais Mitchell was a piece from her Hadestown album which she did with Ani De Franco, Greg Brown and others. It’s an interesting interpretation of the Orpheus story. I’ve since found some other pieces by her.

Caryn,
I have four or so songs of hers in my music file. I should have more as I really like her voice. Beats me how I heard of her, but I’m happy I did.

I’m beginning to get a complex about how many artists I don’t know. I like this very much…time to explore!
