    It irked me as a kid that Charlie’s wife could make and deliver him a sandwich every day but couldn’t hand him the rest of the change needed to get off the T.

      I always kind of figured she liked life with Charlie missing at home.

      The T, as the subway system is now called, sells passes for multiple rides. They are called Charlie cards. I like that.

    I returned to Boston aftr many years over seas as was charmed to buy a Charlie card. And damn the terrorists, may they rot in hell

      I’m with you in damning the terrorists. Patriot’s Day in Massachusetts is usually a joy filled day with so much going on.The city is a buzz with people enjoying the holiday. This will make people more resolute!
