Kay,
I tried to find out who it was, but I didn’t find it. It could be Booker T. Jones but I’m guessing as he’d played on other King recordings.

Spaceman,
Did they come later?

They were the studio musicians for this song and several of King’s albums during this time period

Spaceman,
Thanks! I am sometimes amazed at popular singers who started out as studio musicians.

When my husband and I split over 30 years ago, we sit on the floor with our collection of albums between us. I chose one, he chose one, and so on and so on over a whole evening, drinking, laughing and crying. He ended up with all the BB King, Freddy King and Albert King. I ended up with all the Joni, Leonard Cohen and Dylan. Some things ended with split collections. I have half of Dan Hicks, he has the other half. I still have my albums but a boyfriend of my daughters buggered up my turntable. The weight just has to be adjusted but I don’t know how. My ex would know how but he lives in Florida.

He would also know the piano player. He himself is a musician.

Cuidado,
I guessed but never found the definitive answer. A musician in the family would help.

Cuidado,
I always find the internet has an answer for everything. Just plug in your problem and, like Ann Landers, the problem solver will give you exactly what you need. I’d give that turntable glitch a try.
Here’s a start: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ynIDWgo2lpo
I bought a new turntable; my old one was unsalvageable.

Thanks for that. Here I go

Let me know! If that doesn’t work, try more. I know there is a solution!
