I’m glad you didn’t post pope songs. Solely pope and carnival on our TV. I hope we don’t have to take him back.

Glad you like it. The song is from her first solo album. It’s a good one for the most part.
I forgot about Mardi Gras with all the snow excitement, and I don’t know a single pope song so we all got lucky with my choices today.

The only Pope Song I know is by Tim Minchin and it’s probably not suitable for language censored American TV/radio, because it would sound like “Beep beep beep pope beep beep …”

No we don’t but once we did in the 1300’s. I was thinking that Beep, beep couldn’t apply to the Pope.

I couldn’t remember this Donovan pope song. Video not available over here, but I just listened to my old dusty vinyl 🙂 I should digitalize some of my records, but I don’t have the patience and time and old tapes with concert radio broadcasts are more urgent…

Who’s a pope– Of course I was kidding. I saw Suzanne Vega with Gerry Leonard on guitar in S.F., and I also saw a play “The Fourth Messenger, which I thought was excellent. http://www.kqed.org/arts/performance/article.jsp?essid=116196
