Unchained Melody: The Righteous Brothers
Each of today’s songs were number 1 at some time in 1965, when I graduated from high school.

We both graduated High School in 1965 and I appreciate every one of these songs. They bring back so many memories of innocence, puppy love and a bright future. The anti-war movement had not yet begun in ernest and the free love drug culture was a couple of years away. It was a transition time between the idyllic 50s and the yet to come turbulent 60s. During the era of drugs, sex and rock and roll, all I got was the rock and roll 🙂

Bob,
You are so right about that time being on the cusp of the innocence of the fifties and the soon to come anti-war, free love, and drug era.
We would all be very different in 4 years after we’d finished college. The world changed dramatically and do did we.
