Meanwhile I’ve heard some other songs of “Sing the Delta” on YouTube, but I’m a bit disappointed after listening to the great song you posted. The other songs I heard are too much “country music” for me.

Great Iris DeMent song, reminds me of early Randy Newman. Have you heard the complete new album? Is it worth buying?

I have only heard a few songs so I can’t give you any advice. I sometimes love his music and sometimes not so much.
This is from her new album, Sing the Delta, the first album in a lot of years.

That is why I am careful about the Iris I post. She gets too country for me as well which explains why this song.
