My Dear Hedley,
I was thinking it was a nice Christmas present.

And for whom would it be a nice Christmas present ?

im6, since Kay might be a bit too much to handle, here is Paddy Roberts. You might want to seek out Paddy Roberts at the Blue Angel, which was massively overplayed in our childhood homes, but here is Paddy’s christmas hit. My sister and I still know all the words

My Dear Hedley,
The “for whom” was, I expect, rhetorical!
I love the usual Christmas music, but I have to admit this is great. I got a good chuckle from it!!

Is this some sort of Beach Boys spin off? Note that the musical director was Dennis Wilson !!! And we thought Brian had all the talent. Not sure I can fully appreciate this song as it’s veddy, veddy British to these Texas ears. But it’s infinitely better than “Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer.” Happy Christmas, MDH, Kat, and all the Coffee Clan.

Kat
My folks played the single over and over and then we were subjected to the LP. Paddy Roberts was considered a bit risqué but it was the early 1960s

MDH,
I’d have liked your parents!
