The very last track from the only studio album “Layla and other assorted love songs”… The double disc reissue in 2011 was very good.
Saw Eric many times including the Garden Party at the Crystal Palace. At the height of Eric’s problems before the start of the comeback at the Rainbow, it was not uncommon to see “Eric is God” spray painted on random bridges and viaducts.
In later years Eric became lazy with no changes to show set lists and the typical run out of Badge, Layla, Wonderful, and Sunshine. It was still Eric but he was cruising.
Great pick Katmah, yes im6, I know it was Clapton on “while my guitar gently weeps”
