Love this song, and Im sure that I still have the original Pye single in the purple sleeve.
My sister just saw Ray at the RAH and this was part of a very good singalong/kariokekinks night out

Too kind Katmah, too kind. you and I are totally sympatico when it comes to the Davies brothers are their musical stylings from Muswell Hill. I still like their version of VGP society best

hmmmm Katmah, not sure about that – you are a promotor of the Jam and Jerusalem Kate Rusby version, which I also really like but I think that Ray expresses better the frustration of things that have passed.
