Back in the day, I was a big fan of Graham Parker and the Rumour. Graham, disappeared off the radar but I did see him a couple of years ago at a small bar in Auburn Hills. He played Callahans for a small but very appreciative crowd and stuck around to chat and do the normal stuff.
Parker continues to produce terrific music and one album and its title track really applies to today, so if you dont mind, from the very excellent “Dont tell Columbus”, this is “I discovered America”,

Very glad that you liked it. Graham was really cool when we met him. He is about to release some new stuff with the Rumour and will be hitting the road but unfortunately not Michigan.
Bit of a different take on Mr Columbus but hopefully worth your time.
