   up until about two years ago, the kindergarten kids in the after school program in my little upstate NY village would trim and dance around a Maypole each spring. It’d stand in the village for a couple of days before it was taken down. I miss it. I’m trying to get it back…

     I would have loved it too. Whenever my village (cape towns are considered villages, has something neat like that I always try and go.
