        Interestingly, Joe Strummer was the son of a diplomat and like many such children was sent to Boarding School, in Joe’s case the City of London Freemans School in Ashtead, which was in my village.
        Nope didn’t know him but his background was fascinating given the broad appeal of The Clash.
