    A male friend of mine had a thing for shoes. He had dozens and dozens of pairs of shoes of all kinds. Expensive shoes, too. I said he had gotten in touch with his feminine side and, apparently, it was Imelda Marcos.

      I don’t know shoe people. Most of my friends don’t seem to care all that much. They wear shoes until the shoes are too worn out and no longer fit for company.
