Sad Memories: Buffalo Springfield

Buffalo Springfield lasted around two years before they disbanded in 1968. I’m still in mourning.

    Buffalo guns were Hawkins and Sharpes, seldom ever Springfields.

    The band played Bonnaroo last month and may tour next year.

      Jeff,
      I did a bit of sleuthing and found out original members Neil Young, Stephen Stills and Richie Furay will hit the road this fall. I hope they don’t tarnish the wonderful music they made.

    From your reply to Jeff above, I hope they can carry on where they left off, also. Wonderful music they made and good times, too. Lets all hope together and maybe it will be.

    On the other hand with age these guys may even be better.

      I was amazed to see they actually made only a few records. I loved their music enough to think they made many.

      It’s difficult to guess how they’ll be-I hope, like you, they’ll be better with age!
