And I love this song ! On behalf of all you B guests, this was a wonderful choice.
From the same CD is another extraordinary song…Mr Es beautiful blues.
I can’t look at the rocket launch
The trophy wives of the astronauts
And I won’t listen to their words
’cause I like
Birds
My Dear Hedley,
Never were you or are you a B guest. You were away and my mind just jumped over you. I apologize for the oversight. You are an A-lister, but I’ll still grant you the same latitude (which you always had).
I had never heard of them before and found a youtube link, but I also found out that I think they are performing in SF in August. Has anyone seen them perform?
Lori
The answer is yes, I saw them at the Royal Oak Music Theatre in michigan a couple of years ago on the Eels with Strings tour which is available both as a CD and a DVD.
With E, you never quite know what you are going to get. That is the fun of the ban. You can also pick up a couple of free downloads from the recent trilogy by visiting http://www.eelstheband.com
Oh and they are “Fabgear” in concert 🙂 …(still love you Cathy McGowan)

My Dear Hedley,
I wanted you to know you are among the select so I chose a song I knew you’d love!
It was my pleasure!

Well, well well. Ain’t this a great quirky little ditty.
Have to chase up some of this guy’s music.
Thanks Kat

Dearest Pete,
I wish I had more to send you, but my Eels’ music is a bit sparse.
You are such a discerning listener so I should have guessed you’d like this song.

Lori,
You haven’t? Nope, I haven’t either. I don’t know if they have made their way east.
