Could this be the start of when the baby boomer generation was conceived?

Gnufool,
Yup, no question in my mind-I remember those rocking cars from when I was a kid. They always parked in the way back.

You can drive-in, but you can’t drive-out.
Cheers

John,
That sounds like a promo for an old horror movie!

Somewhere Roger Corman is kicking himself…
As a teen I worked as a lot attendant in a drive-in theater in theater from 1969-71 in Tennessee. We had a wild mix o’movies: 3rd run mainstream pictures, artsy European films (b/c they had nudity), & country-western musicals.

buzz,
We went to the drive-in every week when I was a kid. During high school, we’d go every couple of weeks.
When I moved to the cape, there were two close: the Dennis and Yarmouth Drive-Ins, both now closed. The Dennis drive in was so buggy we burned mosquito coils. We’d sit outside on chairs and watch the movie while surrounded by those coils. Our food changed-we had wine and cheese and all sorts of delicious foods.
