    Even though I actually have a copy of this song, I bet I haven’t listened to it in 35 years… what a loss! Great song. Thanks for unearthing a lost treasure.

      It was my pleasure. I am a fan of Lindisfarne and could listen to many of their songs including this and The Fog on the Tyne over and over. I’m betting few of my Coffee reading know Lindisfarne so I was glad for your comment.

    I’ve never heard this group before. They kind of remind me of Fairport Convention…off to you tube. Yesterday was a hot and sticky day. Father’s day falls on the day of my father’s funeral, so the Judy Collins pick was perfect.
