  1. Stan a few days ago and now music like that from my heritage. I am 100 percent Acadian. I must say I don’t here much of it now though I grew up with it.

      Cuidado,
This morning, when I posted this, I actually remembered your heritage and how pleased you were when I last posted one. I was hoping you’d come by to hear this.

  2. Hello
This is not Acadian. This band is from Quebec and this is and old Quebec folk song.

      Hi Mario,
I knew they were from Quebec as I had looked them up before posting, but they have an Acadian sound.

  3. Maybe… Maybe…
If you want these old kind of songs (Reels, Irish, etc) go to the following place and search. Have fun! It’s free, from Canada’s library :

  4. Just adding some tips :

A good keyword is STARR. That was a label’s name and most of the folk songs were on that label.
Some other keywords : reel, valse, clog.
Most of the files are instrumental music.

      Thanks, Mario

I remember reading some of those words when I looked up the group, and I do appreciate the tips as this is one area where I know very little.
