    I have always loved her, even when most of my friends didn’t like her. It’s too bad she was banned from the US for her song–I believe Universal Soldier, which most people, including my self never really understood till much later.. She then went to Sesame St., and there are some great You Tubes with her in it.
    i did see her once, I believe.

    What a pleasure to hear this interview, thanks, John–I had never heard her speak at length before, and certainly never talking about her art. Interesting that she has that New England accent, having grown up in Maine.
