Yeeeee Hawwwwww! Check this video version out!

The solos on this video will have you out on your back deck jumpin’ and shoutin’ and HUGGIN’ that demon spawn squirrel to beat the band!!!!!! If you miss watching this, I just dunno what’s what.

This takes me back to the Armadillo World Headquarters days in Austin (1970s), when I’d go see Marcia Ball and The Misery Brothers (they did play lots of blues, y’know) in the evening for about 3 bucks and fifty cents. She is my favorite legs-crossed-foot-swingin’, piano-playin’ BLUES SINGER! Ever!

      Wow!!

Parts of my body dormant for years had me jumpin’ and movin’. “She is my favorite legs-crossed-foot-swingin’, piano-playin’ BLUES SINGER! Ever!” is about the best description I’ve heard!!

I am always jealous of concert goers who see my favorites.

The video is great. I wish I could dance… so when I am the water I dance.
I too, am jealous when I don’t get to see a concert, although I have seen many, I just can’t get enough!

      Lori,
I can’t dance either, at least where I can be watched, but this song had me moving (of course, it was in the privacy of my house).

I used to be SO SHY that I would NOT dance. My first date was being asked to a T.W.I.R.P. dance. My mother gave me quick lessons, but she was MY MOTHER. I just couldn’t keep it straight.

But, time and practice have given me a few dance steps that seem to be permanently imprinted. And then rock and roll dancing sort of exploded into get-out-there-and-EXPRESS-yourself. About that same time, I became less shy and actually decided I didn’t CARE what people thought about me. I now dance when I really feel the music. My wife wishes I danced ever so much more. But I don’t really get into all music.

        Others’ views?

    RH,
I love music, have the worst voice imaginable and keep a beat sporadically, but I don’t mind. In the car I sing along, tap my fingers to whatever beat I think I hear. Music is a joy to me.
