so cool to see Cathy Fink posted. I remember seeing her on open stage at the Yellow Door Coffeehouse in Montreal when she was a student at McGill. There was a local hit “Dance Hall Girls” by Fraser & DeBolt about being lonely in Baltimore (“… Is this the way it always is in Baltimore?”) to which she (being from Baltimore – or so she said) wrote “I Didn’t come to Montreal to fall in love with you.”

I know it has been ages, maybe even on the blog once called Coffee, since I last posted Cathy Fink. When I was going through my music to find a song, I found her and decided it was a perfect day for a Cathy Fink song.
