We don´t hear this song especially much over here but when we do it´s usually huge choirs singing it and I love it. I like this version even better!

Christer,
I love it when the songs are sung simply, where the words are important.I think this is beautiful.

‘Tis better with a proper choir because then one has a baritone/bass part which makes it much, much better: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YywFKbIT5L8

My Dear Hedley,
I am glad for your team. It being Christmas time and all a little generosity of the spirit doesn’t hurt at all.

Wow…check that out, some random Australian Team has jumped on the Lions bandwagon

My Dear Hedley,
Don’t be disappointed, but I know nothing at all about either team.

1. The Detroit Lions were born in 1934 when the Portsmouth Sounders (formed 1929) moved to Detroit.
2. The Brisbane Lions were formed in 1996 by the union of two other teams, one of which was the Fitzroy Lions. The Fitzroy Lions first ran onto a football pitch in 1883.
The British Columbia Lions played their first game on 28 Aug 1954 and went 1-15; I am not particularly fussed.
Cheers
