Nice track. I saw Eric Anderson in Canton CT a few weeks ago – he’s aged gracefully and is still writing great songs. I last saw him about 40 years ago, at a benefit concert in the Village Vanguard at the hight of the Great Folk Scare.

Michal,
I saw him last year in a very small coffee house. He was a bit stiff during the first half but was wonderful on the second. His voice was strong and I felt transported to a long while ago when I first heard him sing.

Kat,
A terrific cut off a truly great album. Incidentally, that’s Joni Mitchell in the background on the refrain.
On the same album is David Wiffen’s “More Often Than Not”, one of the ultimate “poor me” songs–you can find DW’s version here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FiBESu7VHuo
Not that this song would do much to perk you up, but I do hope you’re feeling better.

Thanks, I didn’t remember it was Joni.
I’m laughing here as I listen. Nope, not a perk me up song but I do like his voice.
