I haven’t ever heard this other than folk singers. The whole choir took my breath away, but the soloist was amazing.

Interesting… I only knew Joan Baez “All my trials”. Same music but different words. it seems quite usual in folk music !

I agree about the words. I think many are traditional and somehow change over time. This song has a few different versions.
