I live opposite a beautiful Victorian cemetery
(http://www.gencem.org/. This time of year, it is at its fabulously spooky best. Claudine’s song comes nowhere near capturing the experience of walking through the cemetery in the dark; but I like it, nevertheless. Thanks for all the great seasonal postings, Kat!

Jim,
I love that the cemetery gatehouse is being used for kids making crafts.
We have several old cemeteries here on the Cape but none are as beautiful as yours. Ours are rows and rows of slate tombstones, some dating to the late 1700’s. They have nothing ornamental about them.
We lived near a cemetery and we used to use it for a shortcut home. It was one where people were still being buried and it wasn’t scary to us.
