Early in the Morning: A Trio

This is from Peter, Paul and Mary, their debut album released in 1962. I still remember hearing them for the first time and being enthralled by their voices, by the beauty of their harmony. I still feel the same way when I listen.

        When I was a recruit (1975), I heard this song every morning, @ 0530 or so, for six weeks. “Stairway to Heaven” was the nighty-night song.

    I always thought it was taps at night and reveille in the morning. Yours are so much better.
