She is indeed, Greg.
I first heard her when I was a kid. My mother played an album with her singing Shrimp Boats just about every day, or so it seemed.

Thanks for this one Kat, this lady is one of my favourites. I remember when I was a young fella, many moons ago, she had a song on the radio called ‘Shrimp-boats’ I think that was when I fell in love with her music, unfortunately I have never been able to track down her version of ‘Shrimp-boats’. The song was particularly pertinent to me as I was born and bred in a fishing village in the UK and the sailing of fishing boats was a part of my life. Thanks Kat.

Bob,
I have to laugh as I just wrote about Shrimp Boats in answering Greg. It was also my introduction to Jo Stafford. My brother and I used to joke we were the only ones of our age who knew all the words to that song.
You are most welcome!

Sara,
I was looking for a bit of variety and found this and loved it.
