Scarborough Fair: Martin Carthy
This is from his first album, Martin Carthy. It was released in 1965. It's an all acoustic album of pure, simple folk music. Maybe you recognize a few of the chords.

I´ve only heard this song with a woman singing it before. Like its simplicity though.

Christer,
Remember Simon and Garfunkel? They sang it as well.

Where do you think S&G got this.Carthy sang it for Paul Simon in a pub,Simon lifted the arrangement without any credit given.Carthy said nothing for years, till he got married and needed some$ for a house,Mr Simon paid up.
