I thought this was a Piper Cub which is about the only small plane I know. This, from the Wiki page, is a much better aircraft. How did you manage to fly it when you were so young?

By paying attention to the instructions of the pilot showing me what to do; he did the complicated stuff like take-off and landing, while I did the ‘level-flight’ stuff; and avoiding inadvertent/untimely contact with the ground.
