Until It’s Time For You To Go: Buffy Sainte-Marie
I hadn't thought of Buffy Sainte-Marie in a long while. Ralph had lent me a record album of hers to rip, and I did but forgot about it. This is from that album: Many a Mile, 1965.

Oooh! Kat! Buy her latest album that came out last year. It’s excellent.
I became a Buffy fan when she appeared periodically on Sesame Street when I was a kid. I was terribly jealous when Big Bird got to visit her in Hawaii. Hmm… Maybe I should bump that up on my trips to take. (Just the Hawaii part; I’m sure Buffy doesn’t want me to drop in on her.)

sprite,
I am listening to some of it now. She is still the Buffy I remember and also someone new.
You had me wondering how Buffy would welcome a Sesame Street fan!

Thanks, Wolf
It’s playing right now. Had I heard this without knowing it was Buffy, it would have taken just a bit to hear her.

And a rare album this is, out of print and not it CD, which is why I’m so happy you made one for me. the version of “Piney Wood Hills” on this album seems to be lost–every version you can find of it now is a cover she made later. The original is far, far better.

Ralph,
I wouldn’t have known the album except for you so the least I could do was give you a CD to listen to!
