I live in south Texas. Our coyotes do NOT sound like that yodeling. Very nice song, though. Our coyotes (we have two types…the two-legged ones and the four-legged ones) out in the sagebrush (yes, sage grows wild here and has beautiful blossoms that will take your breath away when they bloom) have a more doggy sound than that smooth tenor/falsetto.

Our coyotes bark too though I haven’t heard any.
This song is used at the end of Grizzly Man and is quote moving.
