Garden Song: David Mallett
You know I am big on tradition, and this, my favorite spring song, gets posted every year! It is from David's 1992 album Inches and Miles.

Hi,
Thanks Kat for continuing despite the “best” efforts of Blogger and its gang of people who haven’t realised we’re in 2010 yet. I think all these copyright-police should wake up and be positive about the new opportunities the net allows us, rather than trying (unsuccessfully) to shut down and restrict everything.
Took some time to find you, but here I am. Keep up the good work.
Nice song, by the way 🙂

Brian,
I figured I wasn’t going to let the nameless, faceless hoards do in Coffee or me. I know posting music has sent some of my readers scurrying to buy the artist or the album. That should have made the copyright-police realize the value of music blogs, but…..

I’m putting together a garden music mix and the version of The Garden Song I have is very children’s song-ish–I was thinking of leaving it off altogether for just that reason. I’m going to switch it out after hearing the David Mallett version you posted–it’s got just the right mood going on. Thanks!

You are very welcome, Nosila.
David wrote this song, and I love to hear him sing it. A garden music mix is a lovely spring gift. What is the song list?
