I almost didn’t bother listening to or watching this video since i’ve heard it a million times, but I did. And I’m so glad I did. That video! Let me repeat that screaming. THAT VIDEO! Done in the early, early days of music videos (thanks MTV), it is so basic it’s funny. Must have been shot for about $10. Watching it now 35 years or so later, it’s a complete hoot. But my favorite part is the female singer. At least I’m assuming she’s the singer, but you’d never know since she CAN’T BE BOTHERED to lip-sync 🙂 . And you know what? The song stands the test of time and is one for the time capsule. Thanks for choosing this one today.

It was my pleasure to choose this one. I hadn’t heard it in a while either, and I found I loved listening again. It sounded like fun. I went to find the lyrics and, by the end, liked the song even more.
The camera never got close enough to the singer’s mouth, but, you’re right, she didn’t even lip sync. There were moments which made me laugh, but I was glad. I’m happy you were too.
