Ah yes, the kid’s table at holiday time. Being seated at the little table reinforced your low standing in the family. “We can’t seat fat aunt Manya at the kids table so you get to sit there, sorry.” 🙁

What I liked about this kid’s table is how well it is decorated. They have a tablecloth, flowers and lit candles. It is a majestically table for kids.

When I was young and among the adult relatives, I would have preferred a kids’ table.

We call it a cat’s table, I don’t know why. Wikipedia says: 17th century word, maybe based on monastery life.

Wow, that’s really interesting.I think I prefer it to sitting at the kids’ table.
