If only an economy seat on an aircraft were so roomy and comfortable. Wait! Two nights and a day on a train verses three and a half hours in an economy seat it’s not even close. 🙂

Plane travel has stopped being comfortable with the narrow seats and, on many routes, no food. On the train I’d get a bed. I could get up and walk around any time I was restless. I could go to the dining car to eat or the observation car. Trains and planes have different attributes which commend both of them.

I think a vacation train trip that passes through a beautiful route and allows one to get off and stay a night or two in a hotel would be fun.
