I guess my birthday wishes to you won’t be official until I do so here on Kat’s Coffee since this is where we met — gosh, it has to have been about 15 years ago now (how is that possible?!). And, as I said on my Facebook post, WELCOME fellow citizen. We’re very happy to have you.
Happy birthday and congratulations on becoming a member of our tribe a U.S. citizen. You are lucky that you can hold dual citizenship. You can now vote next year in our very important election. Can you still vote absentee in the U.K.? If so you can make a difference on both sides of the pond. 🙂

Thank you, it was one heck of a day. Now my 40 years of living in America are reflected in my citizenship, so exciting
15 years of friendships down the KTCC, I am blessed.

Oh and my first action as a citizen of the United States was to register to vote.

Bob, I cannot vote in the UK as I do not have residence. I registered immediately after becoming a citizen.

I knew you would be quick to register!

“One of us!” Oh wait—that’s not a suitable quotation. 😉
Many happy returns, Hedley, and congratulations on your citizenship. I trust you know what you’re doing.
