“One foot in front of the other was all she could manage.”

I’m taking a vacation day today. When I woke up, I dragged myself out of bed, checked the time with my upstairs Alexa and found out the morning was nearly gone. I came downstairs and immediately grabbed a cup of coffee with the hope it would drag me out of my morning doldrums. It didn’t.

I have a lot I can do today, and I promise the laundry is first. I never go back on a promise.

Enjoy your day. I’ll be back tomorrow.

    Hi Kat,
I know the feeling. The laundry bag has been at the foot of the cellar stairs for 5 days now. I’ll get around to it. I’m getting low on underwear and shirts. Today was supposed to be bill paying day. I got one bill paid and gave up. Too nice outside.

    Enjoy your day.

      Hi Caryn,
Hurrah! I have finished the laundry and am about to bring it upstairs to put away.

It is a delightful day here as well. I’ll take an outdoor shower and sit on the deck and read. That seems a great way to face Labor Day head on!

      Have a wonderful day!!!
