It makes sense in the same way that I think of Phil Collins as a pop singer/drummer and my friends’ kids would think of him as providing vocals to their favorite animated films.

Whoa! That’s what Randy Newman looked like as a young guy?! Weird! (Clearly I only know his more recent works…)

That’s actually how I remember him. I guess I have been more into his younger stuff.

I didn’t even know Phil Colins did vocal work for animated films.
